Fine Fashion Jewellery FAQ's
Where does your vast collection of jewellery come from? Why are your prices so low? Why do I have to pay custom fees when I purchase Italian Jewellery? What payment methods do you accept and can I order outside the Internet? Other Internet sites do not charge shipping and handling fees, why do you charge me shipping and handling fees? How am I guaranteed that what you sell is real gold and gems? What guarantees do you offer for your jewellery? How do I know what my ring size is?
Where does your vast collection of jewellery come from? By and far the largest collection of the jewellery we carry in the site is made in the US. Our Italian jewellery comes directly from Italy. Our Italian jewellery is world renown for its beauty, sophistication, and great workmanship. Due to the premium nature of this jewelry, they tend to be much more expensive than other jewellery. However, the jewellery on this site is premium jewellery from one of the leading manufacturers in Italy but, it does not carry the premium price! Through special arrangements we can sell this jewellery for less than others usually do! A collection we are very proud of is our highly stylish silver jewellery collection. This jewellery comes from the US and is of premium quality. In fact many buy this jewellery to wear fine styles of popular designs on an everyday basis, while saving the more expensive originals for special occasion! This jewellery is so fine that only qualified jewellers will usually be the only ones that can tell that the jewellery is not white gold or platinum! Our Sterling Silver is world renown as the best silver in the world! All silver jewellery we carry is at least 925 Sterling Silver (unless otherwise stated.)
Why are your prices so low? Simply put, most of our jewellery we buy directly from the manufacturer and we eliminate the middle man so we can pass those savings on to you. Most of our jewellery is priced at or near wholesale prices! While it is lower in price, it is not cheap or poorly made, it is just the product of disintermediation-direct to the public sales!
Why do I have to pay custom fees when I purchase the Italian Jewelry (if I live outside Italy)? Any imported jewellery from Italy into the United States of America incurs a maximum of 6.5% custom fee. We cannot go around this fee, it is charged to the person receiving the package and we cannot have the fee charged to us. To accommodate for this, we have in fact adjusted the cost of the jewellery to account for this fee. If we paid for it, the jewellery would cost 6.5% more so there really is no way around this fee.
For non-Italian jewellery collection there is no custom fees for US customers as they are bought in the US, however, there may be custom fees for customers in country outside the US.
With the incredible savings in our site, even with the custom fees, you receive a superb value and gorgeous premium Italian jewellery!
if you live outside the USA you may need to check with your Customs dept to see if extra taxes apply. many countries don't imposed import duties on small amounts of jewellery.
What payment methods do you accept and can I order outside the Internet? · We accept: · Visa · MasterCard . Cheques . Paypal. With the many convenient payment methods and order fulfillment options we offer, payment and order placement could not be easier! We are unable to accept credit cards from some countries due to certain restriction however, we accept the above through Paypal. Other Internet sites do not charge shipping and handling fees, why do you charge me shipping and handling fees? Well, many other companies add their shipping cost directly to the price of the jewellery. Our approach is quite different and fairer to you; we charge you a flat fee and for the shipment no matter how many pieces you purchase instead of selling our jewellery more expensively. Think about it, jewellery stores are in business to make money, the single most costly expense of Internet jewellery sites (after the jewellery itself) is usually the shipping and handling; if others are not charging it; they are making the money somehow. In turn, we openly charge it to you instead of hiding it in the price and in the long run you save money!
Do you ship internationally? We ship anywhere in the world where the laws of the country allows jewellery to be imported into that country and where our shipping insurance covers. Due to insurance reasons we cannot normally ship to the following countries: Afghanistan, Iran, Angola, Iraq, Bangladesh, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Burma Rwanda, Burundi, Seychelles, Congo, Slovenia, Cuba, Sudan, Ethiopia, Syria India, Yemen, and Indonesia. Due to varying custom laws, we cannot tell you if you will incur custom fees. We do know that USA customers do incur up to a 6.5% custom fee which must be paid upon receipt of the item when receiving items sent from outside the US. European customers incur a 20% VAT tax. If you are in the USA or Europe, please check with your local customs department for the particulars in your case!
How am I guaranteed that what you sell is real gold and gems? By law, each jewel must be stamped with the manufacturer's trademark. This stamp tells you that it is what it says it is. If you still have doubts, take it to a certified jeweller and have it examined. Want even more protection? What guarantees do you offer for your jewellery? We carry a 7 days 95% money back return policy. Of course if the piece is defective you can always return it for a replacement!
Why do you have a 95% return policy? Most of our jewellery is custom made just for you and we invest a great deal in getting it made specifically for you, due to the personalized nature of the jewellery it is hard to resell it. When you order you pay upfront because you are putting a deposit on a custom made jewellery because of the expense and the effort it takes to produce the jewellery for you.
How do I know what my ring size is? If you already have a ring that is the same size as the one you want to order, measure its inner diameter with in millimeters. If you do not have a similar ring, wrap a piece of non-elastic thread around the finger you want to buy the ring for and then measure the thread in millimeters. Then visit our ring measures conversion table.
